Linux, Infrastructure & Application Deployment
Configure and troubleshoot Fedora and Ubuntu environments across desktops, virtual machines, and a self-hosted server. Deploy multi-service applications with Docker Compose, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and Nginx; diagnose container networking, API routing, database connectivity, and service availability. Administer SSH access, Samba file sharing, Avahi discovery, and firewall rules. Operate this public portfolio with Caddy, custom DNS, NAT port forwarding, and automated TLS certificate renewal. Build diagnostic and recovery tools using Bash, Python, C, and Rust.
Facilities & mechanical systems
Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems across residential and hospitality properties. Troubleshoot circuits, low-voltage controls, pumps, motors, filtration equipment, and commercial appliances. Led maintenance for a 180-unit property, coordinating emergency repairs, preventive inspections, and unit turns. Manage pool water chemistry, leak detection, flooring, and subfloor repairs. Apply schematic interpretation, lockout/tagout, and chemical safety practices, backed by EPA 608 Universal, OSHA 30, and trade-school training.
